The popularity of heat pumps in Poland is driven by both the growing awareness of CO2 emissions reduction, investor expectations, and the need to explore alternative energy sources. Heat pumps can significantly reduce heating costs, making them a standard in Europe.<\/p>\n
There is insufficient knowledge that an architect’s design should be additionally verified by an engineering designer, who will further validate the appropriate calculations using computational models.<\/p>\n
This is particularly significant because as a result of incorrect data selection, there is a significant power demand, leading to improper energy supply to buildings. Consequently, owners may face penalties for not utilizing the declared computational power.<\/p>\n
The problem is clearly escalating, as several major clients have approached our design office since the beginning of 2023, seeking consultation regarding incorrect calculations for large-scale investments involving multiple apartments. Thanks to swift intervention and implementing appropriate corrections, we managed to avoid penalties. However, these penalties can be substantial, depending on individual provisions in contracts with the electricity supplier.<\/p>\n
